Portland sludge metal trio Flood Peak shared new track “Urnfield” last week ahead of its upcoming release Fixed Ritual.

Fixed Ritual is a follow-up to Plagued by Sufferers, the band’s 2018 debut album. While both projects feature gloom-ridden textures, droning riffs, and frantic drums, the new EP finds the band experimenting with more dissonant and avant soundscapes. The five-track EP is set to drop January 22, 2021 via Anima Recordings.
