P.O.D. Speak the Truth, Offer Heavy Nostalgia to Yesteryear
The SoCal quartet headlined the “I Got That” 2024 tour, featuring support from Bad Wolves and Norma Jean.
Heavy rockers are a different breed. It takes character and drive committing to a life on the road, in the recording studio, while away from family. Calling San Diego home, P.O.D. formed in 1992 with a distinct nu-metal arrangement and unwavering attitude.
Surpassing thirty years as a collective with 12 million records sold worldwide, the Southtown crew has proven a career of longevity. Don’t forget Satellite went triple platinum in 2001. Numbers don’t lie!
Now on the cusp of releasing their eleventh studio album Veritas, the first since 2018, the group launched a new tour out West. A hometown House of Blues San Diego show set the tone and a taste of what to expect from the setlist.

Chopping in hits from their Satellite era fell in line nicely in addition to newer tracks. Drummer Wuv Bernardos sparked a fuse pounding out “Southtown,” as the pit went off. Sonny whipping his mic cord around with Marvel like powers. The fellas certainly got it.
