New Music: “Urs” by John-Robert

Rising artist and producer John-Robert made his major label debut with new track and music video “Urs” today via Nice Life Recording Company / Warner Records. The emotional acoustic ballad features soulful vocals and a poetic refrain as he sings, “But devotion’s like an ocean that’s swallowing me, swallowing me whole. And I can’t fight the feeling that I want to grow, I want to grow old with you.” John-Robert explains the track: “I wrote this song when I was a 17-year-old delusional romantic who couldn’t express himself and did nothing but sit around writing severely biased narratives, actively participating in wishful thinking. It’s not a love song, it’s a case study.” His debut EP is due out in late spring 2020.
